Reception
The fruit is washed to remove surface dirt, disinfected, and brushed while being bathed in hot water.
Extraction
The skin is scored, the fruit is gently broken open, and the arils are extracted with the aid of air and water.
Separation
The extracted arils are immersed in a bath of cold water and all other elements of the fruit are washed away.
Conveyors
The shell and membranes are conveyed to a collection bin, while arils are moved on to the next stages.
De-Watering
The extracted arils are air-dried using unique fans.
Packaging
Cleaned and dried arils are attractively packaged in containers with a clear plastic perforated covering that allows the arils to breathe while preventing oxygen from entering.
